MOTU Journey in a Dead End

As I mentioned before, I started my MOTU adventure very late in Natty cicle, but it was useful to get confident with the tools, and fixed some minor bugs and upgrade one package :-)

With the Oneric cicle now running, I'm in some kind of dead end and I can't find where to go, Should I try merges/syncs???

Help out with SRUs!

There are still a bunch of SRU-worthy bugs to fix in Natty.

Yes, merges and syncs are a very good start for every MOTU. Do you know about the M-O-M tool?

https://merges.ubuntu.com

It is a half-automatic auto-merger which provides a good overview of what needs to be done to get in sync with debian again.

Good luck on your journey!

http://harvest.ubuntu.com should give you a nice list of stuff that needs to be done.

Another thing you could do is check out patches to see if they still apply. test the patch. there is a long list of them. to be honest this is quite challenging , so please do consider the merges and syncs and then try patches.

Don't give up! It took me a few cycles to become a motu but it just takes some patience!
