Ubuntu-ni presentation at American College

Last wednesday, april 14th. I was invited by the Fedora Ambassador Neville A. Cross to make a breaf presentation about the Ubuntu Nicaragua LoCo Team as part of a serie of talks about Free Software for the students of the American College sponsored by Güegüe Communications.

The content of my presentation was the Philosophy of Ubuntu and how people can join and contribute to our rockstar community.

Festival Latinoamericano de Instalación de Software Libre 2010

Como ya es costumbre, el Grupo de Usuarios de Software Libre de Nicaragua, estará participando en el Festival Latinoamericano de Instalación de Software Libre edición 2010. Este año estaremos en tres ciudades:

• Estelí, en el recinto de la Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería - UNI Norte.

• Granada, en La Casa de los Tres Mundos.

• Managua, en la Universidad American College.

Los esperamos el próximo 24 de abril a partir de las 8:00 AM.

Planning the Ubuntu Open Week in Spanish

As we did with Karmic, the latinamerican Ubuntu Community is organizing the Ubuntu Open Week in Spanish for Lucid! I took sometime to prepare the wiki and the "zen master" Leandro Gómez did a great job with the artwork (as usual).
